The exceptional Groninger Museum has been accommodated in a marvellous post modernistic building designed by the Italian architect Alessandro Mendini on the Museum Island.

Since its foundation in 1894, the museum has amassed a large national and international collection. Paintings, drawings, present-day art, design, photography, fashion, installations and applied art transport you to the realm of art.
