De Ateliers is an international artists' institute. Founded by artists in 1963, it is the oldest postgraduate studio programme in the Netherlands.

De Ateliers is open to young artists at the beginning of their professional development. During a working period of two years, they are provided with a studio, a grant and weekly studio visits by prominent artists and critics. De Ateliers creates a stimulating environment for production, development, reflection and presentation, a platform for discussion and collaboration between artists of different generations, different nationalities and different artistic visions.

Design Academy Eindhoven anticipates and invites change. Its students are encouraged to do the same. With its conceptual and project-oriented approach to industrial design education, students are encouraged to think for themselves and act responsively. Teachers serve as motivators and facilitators.

Design Academy Eindhoven seeks to attract serious students who are willing to go the full distance in their quest to instigate change for the better. Independent thinkers who are dedicated and disciplined and who are undaunted by the prospect of potential failure.
